If your leeks came in a pack of three like mine did, slice the other two and freeze them so you can make this soup again anytime you like!.

I saw some where people had painted their bedroom walls with chalkboard paint and had drawn in the headboard and wall hangings and lamps, etc.that they wish they had there.

So I thought, naturally, why not just draw in what I hope to have up on that wall one day in the far distant future when I renovate my kitchen?Maybe.. Oh, yeah.I’m no artist either.

So what it’s supposed to be is a couple of thick, chunky shelves, with a collection of cake plates, a ginger jar, a bowl of fluffy hydrangeas, and a little picture.

That’s what it’s supposed to be.Then I ripped about a million strips of each fabric to be that width.. OK, not a million, more like 6.

But it looked like a million when I was sitting in the middle of all the piles!.I laid the fabric strips down and decided how I wanted to put them next..

I ironed each strip and folded over a seam that was about 3/4 of an inch wide for each. Then I sewed those seams in place.. Next, I became reunited with my old friend the glue gun.
