The case for open sourcing

Hope Your Valentine’s Day Is A Blast.

I just can’t get enough of the corn.. We’re very unhappy to see our creek looking like this. The city came in and sprayed for frogs and cat tails a couple of weeks ago.

The case for open sourcing

Next year we’ll be planting all along the creek so they can’t access it.Don’t they know how great cat tails are for Fall decorating?.I can’t wait to look back on all these pictures in a few months when everything is so different and remember what it looked like during our first month here.. What do you do to mark the changing of the season? This is our barn.. Well, no.

The case for open sourcing

This is the barn across the creek from our house. The 150 acre property with the barn was owned by the family that used to own our house for the last 180 years or so, or at least that’s what we hear.

The case for open sourcing

25 years-ish ago, they sold all but the 1.5 acres that we have around our house to a farmer.. Truthfully though, we never see a soul around that part of the property, so we cut the grassy area around it and use it for soccer games and golf practice.

Plus I’m pretty sure no one loves that barn like we do, so we call it ours!.So why am I showing you photos of my sad-looking plants?

Is this supposed to motivate you to go out and create a beautiful garden of your own?Well, maybe, but probably not.

But also, maybe your garden looks like mine. And maybe you know nothing about gardening and it’s a learning experience for you too.
